Leigh Ann Groome is an M&A advisor with more than 25 years of experience in corporate development, finance, and investment banking.

Leigh Ann adds world-class experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, divestitures, and partnerships to Walden’s Sell-Side and Buy-Side services.

A Global Track Record of M&A Success

Leigh Ann’s expertise covers small, medium and large companies, as well as early-stage businesses and non-profit organizations. She has successfully closed over 60 transactions, valued from $5M to $1B+, in 18 countries.

Her previous roles include overseeing the full M&A transaction lifecycle, strategic initiatives, and operational partnerships for prominent organizations such as Equifax and Waymo, a subsidiary of Alphabet/Google.

Previously, Leigh Ann held the position of CFO for an early-stage non-profit, building out the financial function and raising $110M for affordable housing.

Education

Leigh Ann graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Industrial and Systems Engineering and The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina with an MBA with a Finance emphasis.
